Upcoming singer and songwriter Maluk Garang popularly known as Macco Bwoy has released his latest song, Crush.
The video was shot in Kajiado by Ricky Bekko of Big Dreams studio while Independent TOT Records have produced the audio.
Commenting on his new release, Macco said: “I plan to push South Sudanese music and artistes to the world, we have been missing yet our industry has been steadily growing. This is the time for the world to know that South Sudan has some good vibes musically despite everything going on down there.”
The singer is currently signed to Independent Tot Studio based in Australia, with an office in Kenya. The studio was founded by Susan Nyaruai Tot an Australian based Businesswoman, making her the first S.S woman to own a record label.
Macco grew up at the Kakuma refugee camp where he listened to musicians such as John Kuduse, Gordon Kong, Nyankol Mathiang among others – they influence his style of music. He launched his foray into music in 2015 with the hit song ‘Sudanese Girls’.
