The ninth edition of DOADOA East African Performing Arts Market – will be held from 6 to 9 May 2020 in Kampala, Uganda.
DOADOA offers stakeholders within the performing arts sector (e.g. musicians, music producers, composers, songwriters, music promoters, managers, distributors, events managers, festival directors, dancers, dance programmers, dance producers, tour operators, theatre makers/practitioners, venue owners, copyright law societies, legislators, cultural organizations, performing arts schools/academies, Comedians, journalists & media houses, poets, storytellers, marching artists and others the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience, to network and learn. There will be conferences, exhibitions, collaborations, practical workshops by experts both regional and international as well as informal networking sessions (speed networking sessions), mentorship opportunities and showcases by selected Artists. Each edition promises to go beyond the previous.
